Three Ethernet communication

Compulite latest series of products combined with Ethernet technology, Compulite series of all the support of Ethernet optical communication. The Ethernet communication network includes CompuLINK, E-MIX and VideoLINK.

CompuLINK offers a variety of console features, such as display and text assignments independent of the main console, and DMX and Ethernet routing. The lighting designer can view the current data of the stored data and the console through a CompuLINK Ethernet node on the production station. The node operator can use an alphanumeric keypad as an accessory to control the master station.

E-MIX is Ethernet to DMX / DMX to Ethernet router. E-MIX nodes are typically positioned in the dimming chamber and the lamp suspension position. CompuLINK and E-MIX have 2 DMX outputs and 2 DMX input transmit / receive interfaces that can be used as Ethernet to DMX / DMX to Ethernet routers.

VideoLINK is an Ethernet workstation that contains a node that connects the monitor and keyboard, with all the display, text, and CompuLINK keyboard management functions. CompuLINK supports MIDI input / output, SMPTE, floppy disk access, printer, remote control, and remote console operation with text keyboard. A local LCD monitor and six push buttons are used to set the standalone configuration. The control key sequence on the Compu-LINK or VideoLINK node facilitates the operator's control of the master station at the Ethernet station.

The Ethernet node can be used as a buffer for DMX / SMIX / High End transmission. The communication network protocol supports additional DMX functions such as looping, scaling and programming dimming curves. In case the communication is interrupted, the node can support the final DMX transmission. DMX input value can be converted to the main system through the node to go. The output of the parallel printer can be processed on CompuLINK, so that the main system can continue to work. There is a VGA monitor on the main console that displays real-time information, which can be synchronized with the display of the main console. The program file can be recorded and loaded onto a floppy disk. CompuLINK or VideoLINK workstations can be connected to a touch screen.

Four CompuCAD lighting program design software

CompuCAD successfully combines graphics, program design modules, hard copy tables, and quick projector recognition; and video cameras can be used in conjunction with recording, the selected video frame as a graphics file in order to form an important file; This file can be used to train new employees. If the console operator can not see the stage, the video link can provide live action via the PC monitor. CompuCAD is divided into program design module, graphics and database module, scene editor, three-dimensional graphical interface, CompuCAD network and other parts, to meet the lighting designer, lighting director and operator needs, CompuCAD for lighting designers to express their own lighting design Thinking and ideas

Program design module

The program design module is an organization tool that allows lighting designers to organize lighting ideas and use their own language to define lighting requirements. The graphics module allows selection of all drawings and lighting devices to be performed in 3D reproduction mode or in 2D and front view.

CompuCAD can build a three-dimensional environment based on the introduction of a two-dimensional diagram, and even use a full three-dimensional reproduction device even in 2D graphics. The light diagram is organized in a multi-layered form, allowing independent diagrams of the theater, setting and lighting layouts to be reused in different combinations. Different tools to help the lighting division to make design decisions:

1) You can select the fixture from the library and drag it into the light map; CompuCAD introduces other lighting library and creates a current "in use" library; the specific beam calculator can choose the most suitable for the job The required brightness of the lamps; there is a tool to match the different lighting;

2) lighting fixtures can be suspended and focused

3) can check and select color paper and pattern;

4) The shutter and the light blocking plate can form the beam;

5) positioning control circuit, silicon road and lamp holder;

6) 6) You can add comments in the text area.

2. Graphics and database modules

3. This module enables ideas and programs to be compiled into a clear and detailed lighting map that generates all the required worksheets, including wiring diagrams, installation scenarios, color schemes, scene records, and proportions of lights. Graphics and database module allows the lighting division to accurately see their own lighting ideas. The designer can use the drawing tools provided in the module to draw the light map. Introducing DXF files into CompuCAD makes it easy to merge the existing design of the theater with the designer's lighting settings.

3. Scene editor

The scene editor can generate a light field, by recording the light element and light combination and select the optical path and the arrangement of light to achieve. It is actually a light console expansion

4. 3D graphical interface

The user can position the light by dragging it into the light layout or by defining it in the light diagram. In a light scene, they are displayed in a full three-dimensional reproduction mode. This feature enhances the communication between the lighting designer and the director or device designer. You can also print a 3D reproduction display. The lighting scene can be arranged in a full three-dimensional reproduction mode by selecting the lighting fixture and balancing their brightness until a satisfactory scene is obtained. The pointer tool allows you to check which fixtures are focused on a specific point on the stage. This is not very useful for field lighting and lighting rehearsal. Hard copy can be done if necessary

5. CompuCAD network

Bidirectional Ethernet users in the CompuCAD network can connect the dimmer and CompuCAD software to update the programmed field based on the information received from the dimmer. Incoming information or any changes made by any programming user are immediately passed to other programming users, which ensures that the information is up-to-date. In addition, the module also supports the monitoring of the lighting field during execution by graphical display, two-dimensional or three-dimensional mode with or without reproduction.

The lighting director will find that CompuCAD can be used to: generate accurate and detailed focus graphs and diagrams; to coordinate the changes in lighting between the various performances;

The CD-ROM programmer will find that the CompuCAD network can be used to: Install the lighting designer's scene summary into the dimmers, lay the lights faster and more streamlined, and improve the communication with the lighting division during the lighting rehearsal; Any necessary off-line modification; through the vivid icon to monitor the lights on-site; through the CompuCAD network and dimming console in series communication.
